Newsday said there was a twenty percent chance of snow today. I checked the website before I left for work. Of course, it started snowing just as I left, and it didn't stop until just before lunch. Thanks, Newsday.
Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at 9:49AM I am still under the weather today... and only got about 3 hours sleep last "night." But I wanted to say "Happy New Year" to all my loyal readers. OK, I have no readers right now because I haven't told anyone about the blog yet. All in due time...

I have been sick for the last week (along with my mother, sister,
father and step mother), so I have not had the chance to do any yard
work. The trial schedule did not help either.

Several websites are buzzing about a possible firmware update to the iPhone. Apparently, version 1.1.3 will allow the user to move icons around the home page, add the ability to have additional pages, add website icons to the front page, a "find me" feature for google maps, and the ability to send to multiple SMS recipients. A previous story had said that the next update would include a voice recorder and the ability to use the iPhone as a flash storage device.
All of this is just rumor at this point, but the additional features would be nice to have.
